The Xbox 360 is clearly the best game system out there. Any thoughts?

Your wrong. PS3 is much better, not only is the online free, there are many more triple A games. such as MGS4. (metal gear solid) the graphics are much more improved. and most games are more realistic ( the triple A games )

The graphics on an Xbox 360 are better than that of a PS3. There have been numerous articles on it and it's a widely known and accepted fact. While the free online really is cool, the 360 still wins over the PS3.

you havent really explained much there. you are telling me that its very debated of which is better. but you just claim that xbox is better. please tell me which aspects of the xbox are better

To be honest, they're entirely equal until you get to the graphics which are better on 360. Also, most Xbox games come out much, much earlier than than their PS3 equals.

you cant just say xbox graphics are better, it depends on which game you are discussing. MGS4 for instance has the most amazing graphics ive seen on a game in a long long time. but most ps3 games are very detailed. and maybe so, xbox games might come out faster/sooner but there are WAYYYY less triple A games as aposed to ps3 there are more than 7 that is alot.

I'm not debating the graphics of games that come on the system, I'm debating the systems themselves.

I've already stated that it has better graphics, all you've done is tell me that Sony has managed to sign better gaming contracts than Microsoft.

I have to agree with corey on this on, the 360 games come out about 2 weeks earlier than any ps3, I am aware that this is not my debate but I just that I would through that out there.

julius, firstly dont you mean Corey? and secondly, you have absolutely no clue as to when ps3 and xbox games come out. maybe Corey has proven me wrong about graphics, but the online connection is better, the AAA games are more realistic, and plus, on xbox can you go on YouTube? no you can't. in fact, you can't even browse the internet on the Xbox360, but on ps3 you can browse the internet. any website you want, its there for you. and the best part of that is.. you can't get viruses, it's programmed into the system that you 100% can not get viruses. and they are coming out with a new installment that allows you to play PC or Mac games on the ps3 system. sounds a lot better than xbox360 does it not?

That's what I own a computer for. It comes with an interesting device called a mouse, maybe you've heard of it? Much more convienient than a clumsy controller. And it is certainly possible to get viruses, it's just VERY unlikely.

So now I have a computer and I want a PS3 for $500 including games and internet causes. I just spent $1100. But instead I could have just spent $500 and saved myself an extra hundred.

Let's say I want to play games like Civilization IV.
The cost of a good video driver (which a PS3 DOES NOT HAVE) is around $50. I'm perfectly willing to pay $50 for fluid Internet action.
